Competition
This is a contest for you to show off your photography skills using the wonderful sandbox game; Minecraft. Explore the world and find or build your perfect place you can take a photo in. Show off to the entire PMC community your world and take out the boasting rights and the prize of this competition. The theme of this competition is, 'The Landscape'. When entires have closed the top 10 will be selected and displayed to vote for.

RULES
1 - Photograph must be taken in minecraft.
2 - No inventory bar is allowed in the photograph/screenshot. (Press F1)
3 - Players ARE allowed in the photograph but please no violent, nude or advertisment skins.
4 - You ARE allowed to edit the terrain to get the perfect photograph. But no houses.
5 - No photographs to be taken with a camera of the screen, must be screenshot. (Read on for details)
6 - You ARE NOT allowed to edit the photo EXCEPT to darken/lighten certain areas or to blur out certain areas. You may also add a watermark.
7 - Do not repost other's work or make a recreation of other's work.
8 - MUST BE ENTERED BEFORE CLOSING DATE
9 - Shaders and Optifine are allowed to be used but no mods that add mobs, generation or items.
10 - No resource packs are allowed.

PRIZE
Prizes may be updated depending on popularity.
1st Prize - 10 diamonds on your posts, 2 custom skins and featured on my profile for 1+ year.
2nd Prize - 7 Diamonds on your posts, 1 custom skin and featured on my profile for 6+ months
3rd Prize - 5 Diamonds on your posts, 1 custom skin and featured on my profile for 2+ weeks.
All winners will be given a gold pixel art camera to put on their profile.

TIPS
- To take a screenshot press F2 and to hide your inventory F1.
- Try different angles and try shifting from behind things to take photos.
- Use a program such as 'World Painter', 'World Edit' or 'Voxel Sniper' to design the landscape to your desire. There are many tutorials on youtube for you to follow.
- Birds eye views can look really good and show a large amount of area.
- Try to avoid areas where the biomes meet because it can look ugly.

To enter please email your screenshot in jpeg/jpg or png to - variousminecraftcontests@gmail.com. This will need to be done by the 31st of August , Midday AEST, 2014. Any entries after this will NOT be accepted.
Your email will not be used for advertising and will be kept private. I will only need it to reply to if you are in the top 10.
