Many people get an error saying

Error: Unable to access jarfile minecraft_server.1.7.9.exe (Click here to see)

After searching many times over the internet for the solution it seems nobody had the answer to my issues, so I attempted to fix it my self.

the code you want to have in the run.bat is as follows:

"C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe" -Xms1024m -Xmx1024m -jar "minecraft_server.1.7.9.exe"
pause

Make sure you change the : "C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe to where your java is saved,

DO NOT MISS OUT THE QUOTES ( " )

NOTICE: The code is important but it isn't the FIX to the bug

you want to right click the minecraft_server.1.7.9.exe and 'Open with notepad ++ ( DOWNLOAD HERE )
You can also open with any other sort of .txt supporting softwares such as: Microsoft Word, Wordpad, Notepad ect..

Then you want to Save as> minecraft_server.1.7.9.exe but Save as type: ALL TYPES
This will let Java run the .exe as it's supported by ALL TYPES and not only the .exe

you then want to run it, and you have fixed the bug!
