There have been a lot of rumors circling - so let's address it.
The Hot Goss right now is about a wipe. We have witnessed an unprecedented growth in our server's size, popularity, economy, and a newfound interest in modded Minecraft and of course 1.20. With that growth and interest, we identified a pressing issue - the balance within our economy skewed drastically, plugins were not a good fit, and to be honest our quests needed some work.
To rectify this and restore balance we have decided on having a wipe. In preparation for the mods and player growth, we have also updated our server to 2.5 times the processing power and are currently updating the overall build quality of the entire server, even down to the menus.
Trust us, we understand the time and effort you all have invested in accumulating your towns, and we appreciate your understanding as we work toward a healthier and more sustainable in-game economy and server. We also recognize that an asset wipe may evoke mixed emotions. Rest assured that this was not an easy call to make. We have carefully considered this decision over a period of a couple of weeks, as it is not an action to be taken lightly.
Our intention is to create a level playing field for all players and restore the thrill of progression and accomplishment. We believe that this fresh start will accomplish that. We are also going to introduce new features and opportunities designed to entertain and bring new gameplay to the server. Overall, the goal is to ensure a healthier, more stable circulation of funds and a more engaging experience for all. We kindly request your patience and support during this transitional phase. Our staff team will be available to address any questions or concerns you may have, but we require that you remain respectful and positive during this time. We are committed to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience throughout the process while preserving the vibrant and welcoming environment that defines our server - any person or group who goes against this is subject to removal at staff discretion.
Also, as a special thank you to our Donors, Donator Ranks will stay this time, but all player data and the world will be removed.
