Mol'Reath
We all love RP servers, but the logistics of their creation have baffled server owners for a long time. With the notable exception of massivecraft. We have discovered the perfect blend of simplicity, aesthetics, roleplay, free roam, survival minecraft, quests, and imagination.
Welcome one, welcome all, to Mol'Reath. The ultimate minecraft roleplay experience.

Unfortunately, it is unfinished and. we need your help to finish it. Join a team composed of some of the most experienced builders of minecraft. We need a staff team of 24. There are currently 12. We need Builders, loremasters, and most importantly a youtube manager. Join us today!

From the point of view of humans, the years from 1-24 RH:
In the first age, men lived on a tiny string of islands, in the center of the Doomsea. They worshiped cruel gods of volcanoes and death, and lived poorly. Then a boat, made all of metals they had never seen came steaming out of the mists, with a single man standing at the prow. He lept from his ship onto the sands of the shore, and the boat turned around on its own and sailed away. The gods of fire and death came down from their fortresses of evil and confronted him, and he destroyed them. Then mankind bowed down and worshiped him as their god. He told them to stand up, and begin to build ships of wood. This event marks the beginning of human civilization, and the year 1 on the RH. The year 1 corresponds with 334 GT. The mans name was Rol'haer. He is universally worshiped by everyone in the 4 kingdoms. The greatest disciples of Rol'haer lived on the desert islands. They sailed for the land he spoke of, far in the south, first of all the humans. They arrived on at the delta of the Goldwash on 14 RH. They settled the deserts, previously left alone but for a few elves. The next wave of humans left in 23 RH. They were almost the entirety of their race, as Rol'haer was going with this group. They made landfall at a bay now known as landfall bay, then as the sea of Northguard. The dwarfs in their capital of Northguard marched out to beat back the humans from their shores, and thus began The Conquest.

From the point of view of the Elder races, The years between 0 and 400 GT.
The Elves and the Dwarfs have existed since time immortal in all their glory. Up until around 1000 years ago they lived exactly the same for most of history. At 1:30 am on the first day of the first year of the golden time calendar, a dwarf discovered the steam engine and an elf discovered the calendar simultaneously. They began a great age of expansion and progress, thus the golden time calendar. Both races stopped stagnating, and began rapid expansion programs, which of course brought them into more contact, and for a time trade between them flourished. But it did not last. The Dwarfs and elves both claimed the same pieces of land in several places, and their settlers clashed. With tempers running high, they met and talked at Northguard and the old elf capital. They failed to reach a solution, and thus the war of ages began, and was only ended by total exhaustion of population. The War of Ages was a war of enormous size, fought for supremacy between the town ideals. The elves attacked Northguard 6 times, and it never fell. The dwarfs destroyed the capital of the elves, its name long forgotten, after surrounding it. Almost a million elves died that day. The next day, the entire dwarven army was annihilated by a elvish army that hit them at night. This was only the beginning of the war. Billions died, and all progress was extinguished. Mountains were leveled, forests burned. After 200 years of death and destruction, three elves and three dwarfs met on the field of sorrow. They wrote a treaty, one that holds to this day. They met not of at desire to make peace, but a worry for the survival of their races. At the time of the treaty of sorrow, there were only about a million living beings in (name). They worked to recuperate from that war for 100 years, and entered another golden age. Then the sandsmen arrived, and brought with them the faith of Rol'haer. The Dwarves and the Elves ignored them, as they were not entering land that anyone wanted. The worried of course, but the were far more able to support themselves. Then Rol'haer himself arrived in Landfall Bay with 200 ships.
History from 24 RH to present.
This event marked the beginning of The Conquest. The dwarfs of northguard marched out in full force, 10,000 strong, to stop the invasion. The humans were beaten back to the tip of Northguard point, and then Rol'haer descended on the humans, and the pushed back. At the same time he gave them the secrets to gunpowder and redstone. With this new knowledge, they forced the dwarfs back into Northguard. Worried as the were by this the dwarfs knew that no one could penetrate Northguard. It had withstood more assaults then anyone could count during the War Of Ages. Safe inside their walls, the dwarfs planned their next move. The humans arrived and built their cannons, and set their siege. The longest siege in the history of our world, The Last Siege of Northguard. 40 years the humans bombarded the castle, 40 years the tried to breach it. For 40 years, the dwarfs resisted with all their might. After 40 years, The Safeguard Gate was rent asunder. Northguard, that unfailing bastion, Northguard, that city of wonders, Northguard, death to elves, Northguard where the dwarfs crowned their kings since the dawn of time. It was sacked, destroyed and burred. Weep, ye dwarfs for fallen Northguard, Greatest city of history. The humans built a small town called Landfall in the shadow of the Northguard mountains during those 40 years. After the fall of Northguard, they pushed inland. The elves had no interest in those lands, so they gave in without a fight, allowing for the establishment of the human nation and a terse peace with the dwarfs. After the siege of Northguard, Rol'haer announced his ascension to heaven. He sailed on one of the first ships to arrive on our shores, out to the humans original homeland. He spoke one last time to his assembled followers, named Suravion his Hierarch, or living voice on earth. He then proceeded to ascent to his heavenly palace in a blaze of glory that could be seen from the mainland. History has proceeded without much change since the fall of the last few dwarven outposts, as borders were settled and towns built.

The fickle elves of the eastern forests are masters of the woods, archery, and woodcutting. They live high in the treetops of the deep forests. The dwarfs are a rich and influential group, especially since they live in the emerald mountains, and produce all of (name) currency. They spend their days mining and inventing, and are responsible for the creation of the iron roads (railroads). The humans are the last settlers of (name). They are ranchers and farmers, with an abundance of sheep, pigs, and horses. The poorer ones farm. The sandsmen are mysterious and wealthy, as they control the main source of clay, the primary building block, they also keep chickens and cows, and do a bit of farming in the oasis and riverbeds. They are disliked by the humans for competing with them for food sales. They dislike the sea, and mistrust sailors on principal.

List of Features
The one true god Rol'haer
Rol'haer is actually named mrwizard. He is the absolute final authority on everything.... because he is a god. Wizard will be fair and nice, but also is in creative and an operator. His job is to make sure the admins do what their supposed to. If you think an admin is breaking the rules, tell Rol'haer. He will deal with it, if your right, you might get the empire!
Rules
The rules are simple.
No hacking. (this includes minimap)
No spamming.
The admins are always right. If it becomes a problem ask Rol'haer.
Use common sense.
Try and stay in roleplay with your actions. Admins don't care about chat, but if you rebel, think of a reason to do so.* Cough taxes cough*
during a war, don't wine. Otherwise, read the laws.
No loopholes.
Laws for all empires
Keep in mind that when in an empire, that empires laws apply to you.
The Emperor cannot be overruled.
No killing other players.
No stealing.
No insulting important people in chat.
No changing empire.
Rules vs Laws
a rule is a server wide restriction that is generally a bannable offense. They are not in RP format, and basicly say don't break the system. Laws are meant to be broken, and have realistic penalties, mostly becoming an outlaw.
Income Plugin
each player receives 1e every 10 minutes he/she is online. This “income value” can be effected in 2 different ways. Nobles get more income per minute, and jobs give multipliers. So, if you are a lord (moderator) you get 5e every 10 minutes your online. But if your a lord who also happens to be the imperial master of coin you would get 5x4 (20e) per 10 min.
Mines and Forests Reset
A major new idea, we are using the existing prison plugin to reset the woodcutting and mining areas in 9 different cites, instead of having to deal with other peoples mines. This was decided on because of the size of the map. It's difficult to fill that much area with viable resources.
Ranks
owner/admin=emperor
moderator=lord
donator=handpicked position (see jobs)
player=worker
Anyone who has been outlawed by a admin=outlaw*
*outlaws receive no income and can be killed by anyone.
Ranks and jobs are ultra fluid. Admins will hand out unused donator positions to useful people without the extra income. Example: If you think you can, rebel against your cities lord. If you win, you will be moved to the position of lord..... until your nations army shows up and wreaks you. If you beat them...... you can do almost anything.
Jobs
name pay buyer
farmer baker/cook
rancher cook/tailor
slayer alchemist/tailor
Miner Smith/Jeweler
Smith Armorer (not AI)
lumberman Carpenter/builder
Carpenter Builder
Guards 2x N/A (five per city, with a captain.)
Donator Positions

Scribe 12 2x 1$
Armorer 6 2x 2$
Captain 6 3x 5$
Lieutenant 4 3x 10$
General 1 4x 30$
Adviser 1 2x 15$
Treasurer 1 4x 20$
Wizard varies varies 10$
Priest
New Crafting Recopies
armor now requires wool to craft.
The standard crafting for iron armor now makes chain mail, and iron has been made to require iron blocks, to reflect plate armor.
Diamond armor can no longer be crafted, but can be bought or found.
Item Tiers
Knight System
An admin or moderator may knight any player at any time. A knighted player is basicly a privileged player with the direct backing of whoever knighted them. A knight is like a household guard. They fight for whoever they want to, unlike a guard that fights for his emperor.

What makes Superman a hero is not that he has power, but that he has the wisdom and the maturity to use the power wisely. From an acting point of view, that's how I approached the part.
