These are some words that best describe Nationsglory, A server that brings you more than just blocks and regular items. It expands your knowledge of the game with the addition of guns, missiles, technology, modern, real foods.
One of the most successful servers in Europe, with over 500 players a day, ( Divided up into 6 servers) has just opened an english speaking branch. Nationsglory is a server that is truly unlike any other. On Nationsglory, you have the option to make a country, join one, or live in the wilderness. Once you join you will be on a plane over the Mediterranean, you will use you parachute and ripcord to jump out of the plane and onto land. You should then ask to join a country. Nations on this server interact differently than regular factions servers. On Nationsglory, your nation will need to think economically, and diplomatically. You will need to learn how to deal with situations in which to avoid war, because Nationsglory, puts missiles, guns, and other armor and weapons into the game, This can get messy . Weekly, over teamspeak a United Nations meeting is held, where all diplomats from every country get together and talk about world topics, such as wars, trading, and other topics like rule changes ect...
Nationsglory adds over 30 of the most popular mods in minecraft to the game. Since it is very hard to install all o these mods, we decided to make a launcher available for download, already pre-packadged with all of these mods. The link is below.

Our player numbers have not gone up in the way we would've liked them too, so in order for this server to be fun, we'll need lots of players. If you join, and you like it, bring your friends, start a country together. We (Staff) will make your experience as fun as possible.
We need fun, reliable, mature people who can hold themselves together after a war, or harsh UN meeting. (They do get rowdy sometimes if the global situation is bad).
We only have about 5-10 average players, and the European owner has told the staff that if we do not get players, the english server might be shut down! Please help us save this wonderful server!

Also, the launcher connects all of the Nationsglory servers. So if you feel like playing Nationsglory in OuterSpace, head over to the "NationsGalaxy" Button, if you feel like playing on a french server go to "Nationsglory Blue" or "Nationsglory Green".
The launcher is easy to download and starts up like regular minecraft.

Then you will need to simply sign in like regular mine craft, and hit "Play" After a second or two of downloading, you will see a home-screen like this:
After that you will need to click on the English server's button. The Launcher is mainly for the French, so the other buttons are for french Nationsglory servers. But join and maybe when we get enough players we can have our own launcher!
We are adding NPC's available for countries to purchase. We will make three different NPC classes available. "Citizen" A more docile, moderate NPC, with a skin chosen by the country purchasing it. "Guard" A NPC programmed to kill enemy countries (Will be dressed in Military Uniforms). and "Special" These NPC's will be able to send mail, deposit money into your countries' bank, and do other things.

I gave it another shot at playing today, and this server is by far the worst.
While I understand your trying to balance the weapons to prevent all out conflict, the weapons are resource intensive as it is, and with no way to automate mining, or grind up ores to multiply their ingot output, it makes it harder to accumulate the resources as it is.
As for the community, it is bad to join a country. I had the unfortunate experience of joining a country, only to be used and expelled. I joined with the agreement of helping Argentina, led by Levmegs, but instead all I was expected to do was mine, and that was it. I wasn't allowed to build, I wasn't allowed to explore, I wasn't allowed to do anything but mine, and when I confronted him, he kicked me from the country, and took all the resources I'd spent hours gathering.
It also states on the forums that minimodding isn't allowed, in which case I have seen many members barking orders behind a moderator. If it isn't allowed, then why do I see people doing it, and staff turning a blind eye?
Might I also add, I was kicked from the server for saying the word 'damn', even though not long before hand I witnessed members swearing like troopers, such as 'f***'. Talk about biased and a crap server!

Logged into this server today. They failed to mention the following things:
Most items are 'purchase only', and cannot be crafted. Things like a Modern Weapons Box, and majority of the missiles as an example.
You can't make your own faction straight away, you need to 'prove yourself' on the server to the staff, and then ask to make a faction.
The plane that you apparently jump out of is inaccessable. Not exactly relevant, but they do advertise it as part of the storyline to the server.
To the guys running this server, make sure all information is available before people join. Make sure they know what can be built, what cannot, and what must be purchased. I won't be recommending this server to my community based on the fact that half of the items cannot be crafted, and we're forced to spam vote or donate to get them. Good day.

The plane is only accessible for the first time a player logs in, It is only needed as a tutorial, you can access it again by doing /warp plane, which a staff member should have told you. You need to apply to make a country in order to make sure all countries are reputable. This enhances the roleplay experience and makes sure that our leaders are not children. You need to buy most things, because most of the items in our server are highly overpowered. If we allowed players to craft them, the server would get out of hand very quickly.
You can easily buy them through /shop with in game money, which can be achieved through weekly notations, and not voting. If you play on our server a little longer you will see this feature.
If you would like to make suggestions, you can do so on our server forums, otherwise, please respect the way we have set up the server, as it was thought out, and planned carefully, due to past experiences.
