I need to choose a laptop for Gaming
I need to choose between an MSI 3K GS60, and a Dell m3800. I am kind of familiar with them, but I want to know the absolute best one between the two. I will be running minecraft, possibly recording. If you need ANY more information, please comment. I'll be checking this post.

GUYS he says he wants a laptop so stop lecturing him about why he should get a desktop. he said he wanted a laptop, so just help him decide which one is better, you CAN game with a laptop i played on my parents (it got milk spilled on it though so its broken) and it played minecraft just as good as my computer does, i tryed recording to and it worked fine, it wasn't even a gaming laptop it was just some HP dell intel thing, so stop just help him decide which LAPTOP is better.

I'm sorry, but did you even read what was said? We asked why, he gave an answer, so we gave him what he wanted. Since when was it a bad thing to ask before you made a choice?
Plus, laptops can game, but a desktop would be much better. Just like you can buy a Jeep SRT8 and race it, but a Camaro would beat it, while being cheaper.

Did you not read all of the posts? They asked why he would need one, he gave an answer and people are telling him which laptop to get.
On Topic: I would go with the MSI

I won't mention the laptop thing again... but...
These machines are both really epic!
At a glance I would take the msi gs60 for Minecraft... (My guess would be slightly better FPS on this one)
but for recording and editing I would take the m3800 (slightly better screen quality)
(Recording shouldn't be a problem on either one, with nvidia shadow thingy)
both are really good... but my vote goes towards the msi gs60!
Its up to you now!

One thing. Laptops and gaming don't go together
Unless you have a ProStar laptop. It's heavy, it loses battery fast, it's super expensive, but it has amazing hardware and looks BEAUTIFUL!

Are you stuck on the idea of a laptop or would you perhaps consider a desktop? You could get a much more powerful desktop on a much smaller budget.

I'm aware, I just don't know how I could haul a desktop back and forth from my dads - moms.

Any reason for a laptop over a desktop?

Yes, my parents are divorced so I have to pack it up every few days. Also, my Dad is getting a new computer, he already has the Dell, and my brother gets the one that I don't pick. If you look at a spec list, they have pretty much the same everything, I was just wondering what one everyone else would rather have for playing minecraft.
