i have decided! i'm going to put both of ur ideas together to make it where you start of in a mediaval world and go on quests and you came upon a crashed plane in the jungle. will start after ive done my industrial revolution thing

A modern apocalyptic map in which Mycelium is slowly but surly taking over the planet.
A world that seems colorful and innocent until the Player realizes everything is not what it seems
A medieval world (overused, I know, but bare with me) in which the Player starts in a deathmatch type arena and then escapes to do what he/she chooses (kind of like how Bethesda does their RPGs)

I always try to remember when creating maps (or lack there of) that you should always wow the person with your environment. I usually like to incorporate nature in that aspect, but that's only because i feel that's my strong suit. Make everything screen shot worthy as they say :3
But I know that's difficult to do and I really hope that I helped you.
