Oi, Gold with another question, I got a 3DS XL super smash bros edition red for christmas and was wondering if I could get an amiibo for it? I heard some of them cant and I really cant find any solid information about it!

Apparently a peripheral will be released that allows Amiibo compatibility with the original 3DS line. I'd wait for that because buying that would be cheaper than buying a whole new game system.

Amiibos only work with the New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL.
