How to find your desktop background resolution:
Windows-
1) right click on your desktop
2) click on screen resolution (may be under properties for some)
3) the ratio (should be something like 1440x900, depending on what kind of screen you have) is your resolution!
Mac-
1) select the monitors control panel from the apple menu (it may also be called monitors and sound)
2) it will show what resolution you currently have!
