So the other night i decided, hey, why not make an adventure map? so i started. it's not much so far but i need some ideas and redstone help. i can do some easier types of redstone and i'm figuring out how to use certain command block commands when i need them but i still need help. list any ideas for the map here. thanks!

one day you pass a place you decided to go through it right before it to late you get hit in the head with a blunt object, you need to escape before it to late and you are stuck in there forever (zombies=prisoners,zombie pigman=sico-prisoner,skeleton=guard,creeper =suicidle prisoner,enderman=warden)

I think you should just be in the cave and adventure through with lots of strange secrets. Ones that tell you about your past and the race that lived in these caves, and more stuff like that. At the end you go back into regular life but it looks post-apocalyptic, but with a few people here and there. This sets up for a sequel.

Well I Myself Have the same sort of idea for a map, but mine your in an asylum and your mad, and you've already said to your friend
"send a gift like a cake or something with tools and guns inside"
and it is to be honest a good idea so I thought they go and try to escape, theres several different endings, one is you get past the gaurds and get eaten by a dragon and you have to go through his insides and get to his heart and burst the heart. two is that you kill the dragon and adventure to a cave and from there its such a good idea im not going to say and 3 you get warped to a parrelel world a pocket dimension and you have to escape! the nether hub could be an underground escape tunnel from the prison, and you get discovered by guards which could be blazes or zombie pigmen and you have to escape

What about in the hub you find an old villager who convinces you to go back in time to when you were arrested to try and correct the wrong that happened.

Save The Town: Griffinberg has been attacked by a zombie pandemic & you have to go through deep caves filled with parkour to find the golden apples to cure the village.

I think the Jack and the Beanstalk one could be great. Some epic parkour up to the giant kingdom thing and then the quest for the golden egg!

that DOES seem like a cool idea but i think judging by what i have so far i think i should save that for another map.

that is a good idea but i should also tell the backstory:
so you wake up in a prison and you see a cake. under that cake there is a not and some tools of escape. you run from the gaurd snipers and follow a path which leads to a hole. this hole teleports you to a cave where you get a new note and new tools and you go into a nether hub. where the hub leads isn't known yet i just built the hub
