Any Chat Managers Make Chat Lag A lot

Trying to setup a server. and the chat was laggy i removed all of the plugins and found essentials chat was causing the problem. i've tried herochat, chat manager++, and essentials chat with no luck. i want to use essentials chat if possible. idk what is the problem it makes it lagg for 4 seconds every chat message

Could be that you're using a bad build of bukkit/spigot, otherwise I'd make sure that your JVM is fully functional and that there's absolutely nothing that would interfere with the chat thread.
