Skin Problem (Alex Skin)

Since 1.8 rolled around, my skin randomly changed to the new Alex skin. I changed it about 10 times to my actual skin, and I see it now. But the problem is, everyone else I play with sees the Alex skin. Anyone know how to fix this?
