Cethea
(pronounced 'Seh-thee') is a land of revival and adversity. Upon the creation of civilization, nomad groups composed of the earliest of humans stuck together; the entirety of the very minuscule human population traversed the lands as one. The Cetheans did not stop and build up settled communities. Their rapidly growing community continued to travel across the lands as one, creating "pit stops" along the way but never staying long enough to leave a mark on the landscape. As time passed, however, these nomadic groups, as if out of nowhere, began to bicker with one another. This began to occur more and more, so much so that they began to hold the purest form of hatred for one another. Not long after, this erupted into a "civil war" of sorts. The community was divided, every family siding with the elder they respected most. The population quickly decreased as members were slaughtered over their ideas and opinions. Once the violence became so outrageous that the population was halved, the community split up into smaller nomad communities led by their most respected elder. Most of these communities, scarred from the fighting and disagreements, only continued to divide and separate. Eventually, hundreds of communities were in existence. As if the human population wasn't severely disabled at that point, a disease then swept across the planet, dubbed "The Shiva". This further crippled the population up until its sudden disappearance; the remaining Cethean population was below a mere 200. In the year 1104, members of the remaining human population began to find one another again. These people, knowing of their terrible fate with the war and the Shiva, decided to band together, soon creating the very first true civilizations to ever face Cethea --- And this is where your story begins.
Description
The aim is to create a realistic, medieval Minecraft world filled with struggle and glory. You will be able to build or conquer cities, create kingdoms, form alliances and dominate the world. Whether you want to be a peaceful farmer or a cruel dictator, everything is possible on Cethea! It is possible for anyone to become a ruler, but it will require much dedication and trust. Not everyone can be a king!
I hope to create a democratic community and rules system, where the players have a say and can vote on rules and future roleplay events.
