Hello, I am making a resource pack and the grass keep giving me problems. It's been a while since I played Minecraft and resource packs are new and seem to work different.
Anyways here is a screenshot:

The brighter green on the bottom is my grass and the darker green seems to be the default. Any help is appreciated.

If you want the classic green grass texture, you need to edit the foilage.png to make it blank

You have to edit the grass_side_overlay texture. Just copy the grass on the grass_side and paste it in the grass_side_overlay and make it black and white. Do the same with grass_top. Then go into the color map folder and edit the grass to the colors you want. Hopes this helps.
