Mc-Wars provides a combination of both building and pvp phases. Within each round, there are two phases, the building and the attacking.

Building phase
Throughout the building phase, players are able to create and build anything. In their inventory there are three distinct block groups. The grass category, the stone category and the nether category. Left clicking enables the player to toggle between various blocks including; glowstone, endstone and grass. To prevent trolls, a territory has been marked for both teams, meaning that you are not able to build beyond your territory.

Attacking phase
This is the second phase within a Mc-War's round. PvP is enabled and also, players are able to begin breaking the other team's monument (gold block)
There are a variety of classes available to players. Regular classes include; /footman, /archer, /knight, /trapman, /builder, /mage and /priest.
VIP classes include; /alchemist, /spy, /longbowman, /catapult, /beastmaster and /mercenary.
