I normally set mine to about 120 fps and it runs smoothly. What fps do you while playing minecraft?

I am only 11 so my parents didn't let me choose my computer, so, i usually get around 25 fps. However i use optifine and get around 30-50fps

i set mine on fraps to 30 fps option and get around 25-30 when recording minecraft with ultra shaders enabled

I get around 60fps when recording with fraps and 200 when playing normaly

Edit the Xml arguements in "Edit Profile" to get higher FPS. Just don't make it take up your computer's entire RAM. It sucks.

That's what I did to get it to get up to 4 GBs and that gives me about 40-50 FPS on short and fancy.

When you open the launcher, click edit proflle, tick the box at the bottom that says JVM Arguments, it should already have in the box next to it "-Xmx1G"
Now you only need to edit the '1' to whatever amount you want to give it. .. 1 = 1 gigabyte etc

with my old computer:
- 70-100 without SEUS
- 50-90 with SEUS
- 30-70 with SEUS while recording.
with my old computer:
- 700-10000 without SEUS
- 500-900 with SEUS
- 300-700 with SEUS while recording.

Only 10-20 fps drop with seus? I get over 200 fps drop with 650 ti

I get anywhere between 60-120fps with full settings and far render distance with a 128x texture pack
When recording I get 50fps average.

I usually set my render distance on short in survival and get about... I don't know... 20-30 fps. In spawns of servers, I get around 10 fps. Lastly, in Creative mode on a flat world, I get a bunch more... Maybe like 35 on Far render distance? Seems like a bunch more to me. But then again, I rarely ever play on Singleplayer and that might affect the fps, too...

I remember with my old laptop I was lucky to hit 10 FPS on the lowest settings. Compared to that, my new laptop averaging 60 or so with VSync feels like a supercomputer... =P

My old and crappy computer runs minecraft with 6-14 fps. :/

80- 90. I keep my settings to the lowest possible, like Fast Graphics and Minimal Smooth lighting, which actually helps with some of my builds.
