What GPU is currently in your gaming rig?
Just wondering, what GPU is in your gaming rig? I myself have a GTX 970 in my custom built rig. Also I put a second question in the poll area
Edit: Here are some old pictures of my setup just for fun:
Oh god the cable management on this next one...

I have a 970 like 90% of the thread.
Except mine is the Gigabyte Windforce G1 Gaming version.
It. Has. LEDs.
Let's not acknowledge how badly it is bottlenecked by my cpu

My basic system specs are a Intel 2nd Gen 2390T @2.7GHz, a 2x4GB set of 1333MHz memory set, and a R7 240 @780-1000MHz which I installed. The previous graphics card was a HD 6450 @650MHz.

I have a GTX 970.
I honestly don't get why people are blowing up over the memory access issue with the 970. It's an unintentional result of the cut-down process used by every chip manufacturer. Yes, it can be a significant problem if you play at 4K or use NVIDIA Surround, but if you aren't, you should have no problems. The card still has a full 4 GB frame buffer; it's just that the last half-gig is slower (and NVIDIA is working on remediating that with a driver update in the next few days/weeks).

nammerbomi also have a gtx 970 its great
3.5GB Vram in a 4GB card sure is nice #gogreenteam lolol
Anyways, I have an Sapphire 7850, which is painted white. Got it really cheap off of a friend. I have a bunch of older GPU's laying around, ranging from mid-end, to high end cards. Don't really need anything higher than a 7850, I may end up buying into AMD's new 3xx cards when they come out, and putting it into a new rig, not quite sure yet.

Jokes on you. I play 1080p and that won't change anytime soon. GTA IV, Skyrim with mods, and all other kinds of maxed out games and never had this problem.
Seriously though, Nvidia was obviously in the wrong. It won't affect me (hasn't already, given all the games I play), but it's marketing stuff like this that makes companies think they can get over on us. That I'm not okay with. Had bad experiences with AMD drivers, Nvidia lies to me... Intel HD Graphics ftw...

Yeah, the problems with the 970 are being blown out of proportion. Its only really going to effect a small group of people.

Yeah, it's still funny to pick at though, lol. Only people that should even worry about it, is people that bought two of them planning for 4k. But nVidia is offering a refund, and AMD is offering a trade-in deal for their 290x's.
