What's the difference between survival and hunger games?

Is survival games like hunger games except you don't run out of food bars so fast? I'm confused ._. and excuse me if I posted this in the wrong section. There's too many.

Hunger Games is when you can create/destroy blocks.
Survival Games is when you find chests

I'm pretty sure they are the same things. It's just people made the name "Survival Games" because it's a different name then "Hunger Games".

It's actually the opposite, Survival games you can NOT break anything and the whole point is to murder others. Hunger games on the other hand, is where you build shelter and it usually takes much longer than the Survival games!

at a survival game you can break blocks and mine but in hunger games you only loot cheast and break leaves

As far as I know, the Survival Games are just the Minecraft version of the book/movie 'The Hunger Games' I guess some people just call the Survival Games the Hunger Games
