What will Minecraft look like in the future?
I'm sure a lot of people are wondering about this. What do you guys think Minecraft will look like in 5 or 3 years?

It will mostly likely have the same concept. Build, Mine, Craft, Fight, Survive, etc. We know from recent updates that the only things that they add are mostly blocks, food items, structures, mobs, and sometimes even dimensions. The “universe of minecraft” will expand and it will continue to be an amazing game.

with how it"s going i think it"ll be filled with lots of new blocks, items and entities that catch people"s attention for a few days, unbalance the relevant systems (production cost, rarity, ower, speed,...) making most current day items obsolete, and look like a different game only just keeping consistency with things added in the exact same update

It was a bright cold day in the new Decimated Wasteland Biome, and the clocks were still totally worthless. Steve, his chin nuzzled into his breast in an effort to escape the vile new elemental mobs, slipped quickly through the glass doors of the Update Mansions, though not quickly enough to prevent a swirl of gritty dust elementals from entering along with him.
The hallway smelt of useless rabbit stew and old carpets. At one end of it a coloured painting, too large for indoor display, had been tacked to the wall. It depicted simply an enormous series of numbers, more than a metre wide: a predictable sequence following the usual pattern. 1.26 was upon us. Steve made for the stairs. It was no use trying the lift. Even at the best of times it wouldn't work, and at present Mojang's main priority for redstone was adding a new firework color. It was part of the economy drive in preparation for Update Week. The flat was seven flights up, and Steve, who was thirty-nine and had a varicose ulcer above his right ankle, a feature to go along with the new aging and medicine mechanic, went slowly, resting several times on the way. On each landing, opposite the lift-shaft, the poster with the enormous numbers gazed from the wall. It was one of those pictures which are so contrived that the it seems to follow you about when you move. 1.26 - THE EMERALD TOOLS UPDATE, the caption beneath it ran. Beneath this, in fine print, was another sentence. It filled Steve's heart with a profound dysphoria.

Wow. That story was... Something. Must've taken you a long time to write all that.
