--here is the story of cantemos-
one day, a miner stumbled apon a portal in his mine shaft. he decided to go through it. as he entered the nether, he noticed he was in a large temple made out of obsidian. he decided to walk up the stairs, and saw many silverfish in a cage as he was walking up the stairs. he soon came to a throne room. on the throne was a zombified creature with blood-stained horns. the miner had heard of this creature by the name Cantemos- the singer of death. the miner tried to sneak past cantemos, but cantemos saw him too soon. he called up his skeletal servants to destroy the intruder. the miner had escaped, and built a secret house in the nether, one directly across cantemos's temple. one day ( or night ), the miner saw cantemos riding a ghast, searching for something to destroy. the miner reluctantly ran infront of cantemos's temple, and the ghast fired; destroying part of the entrance to the temple.
Cantemos was furious, he sent millions of zombie pigmen to destroy the miner, but the miner escaped to his shelter. the zombies followed only to find themselves in a trap, for cantemos had a secret exit. the shelter exploded, and the miner went back to the temple. he exited through the portal, and started to destroy it. cantemos came through just as the first brick was destroyed, and he destroyed the miner, and turned his house into a ruin. from that point on, cantemos has scavenged the mortal world for anything to destroy. cantemos can still usually be found inside of his temple, though he rarely goes there. he has build a new temple out of obsidian in the mortal world, and it is said that all who go there are never seen again. cantemos can usually be seen roaming the wild of the world, searching for something to destroy, though he will never find it. instead, he goes to abandoned villages- those that had taken note of his arrival - and destroyes them, and puts lava around the perimeter of the small towns. cantemos hasn't been seen since then, but many have had a slight glance at cantemos, usually from afar, in a safe place in their house. it is said that cantemos's song will bring you to your death, and it will haunt you forever if you survive his unholy spell
