    I've decided after months of inactivity that WafflPak is to be officially discontinued. It will always be available for download, of course, but I won't be updating it at all. I've put a lot of time and effort into the project, but I think it's time for me to start work on something new. So keep on the lookout, as I'll surely be posting something interesting soon.

    Two years is a long time to be working on any project, and I'm proud WafflPak came out the way it did, but it's time for me to move on and create something brand new from scratch.

    WafflPak 1.8.0 is out!!! All of the item textures have been completely overhauled with more detailed shading! With that being said, it's time I took a much needed break. Working on WafflPak has gotten tiring; keeping it up to date gets boring very quick and forces me to follow Minecraft news when I really don't want to. I'll likely be very inactive here unless I either start work back up on WafflPak or, more likely, I make some new content. Until then, WafflPak will stay at version 1.20.

    WARNING TO EVERYONE AHEAD OF TIME! After the Overhaul Update, Wafflpak will require Optifine for all textures to function properly! As such, WafflPak Plus will be retired; as all of its content will be transferred over to the main release. It simply makes this all easier for me to make, and it means everyone will be able to see the effort I put into the Optifine features and will actually make them worth working on!

    The Wafflpak Overhaul Update as I'm calling it is coming along nicely! It likely won't be released for quite a while longer, as I'm still scanning through textures to revamp, but be rest assured that it will come out some time in the near future. (Edit: I've gotten through roughly 70% of the items, with blocks coming next, then entities)

    Sorry about the the lack of announcements, but I've decided to overhaul the shading on all existing items! (fun...) That means I likely won't release another update until 1.21 comes out, so stay on the lookout for posts until then.

    Thanks to everyone for 2,000 downloads on the pack! I don't exactly know what to do in celebration (thinking of a community suggestions update? Don't think I'll get enough suggestions though) but I'm sure I'll figure it out.

    In some exciting news: WafflPak has actually passed 10k views! This silly little project has gotten way bigger than I ever thought it would, and I'd like to thank everyone for checking it out! Even greater thanks to those who've stuck around from the early days (if any of you actually have done that). Despite my general inactivity, I still plan on supporting WafflPak for the foreseeable future!

    WafflPVP is most of the way through completion, though I won't promise any specific release window cause I don't know when I'll get the motivation to finish it.

    It's been over a month since I last updated the pack, huh? Don't worry, content is still on the way; though more so in the form of addon packs. WafflPak is just at a pretty good point right now and there isn't much I could see myself changing. Coming at...some point is WafflPVP for you competitive peoples out there, as well as a smaller update for the main pack focused around entity variants.

    WafflPak 1.20 is, as you've probably noticed from recent releases, decently close to being finished. It likely won't be done for at least a day or two after 1.20's release though, since I've taken a bit of a break.
