How long have you played: 7 years

You claim to have played for years? That indicates multiple things to us; One being that you have somehow been playing Minecraft much earlier than it's actual debut, as it came public on PC during 2009; only 4 years ago. It also indicates that you must have started playing when you were only 7 years old, and since neither of those facts are true due to obvious reasons, it leads us to assume you are a chronic lier.

You're joking right?

If when you say that, you're talking about Scrolls...Scrolls has no similarities to Minecraft other than the development company that makes it. Scrolls is a virtual card-based game.

And if you are not talking about Scrolls, then you are honestly quite ignorant as the main reason Jeb was given main leadership of Minecraft was so Notch could focus more on Scrolls in the first place, Notch still helps with the development of Minecraft. If they were planning an improved version of Minecraft why would they have spent the past year completely re-coding the game for the 1.7 update?

Why would they make a sequel for a sandbox indie game? The whole concept itself means that it will never be complete, it will be continuously improved.
