Darkness itself looked more scary than ever. Shadows were moving. Strange sounds were heard as if they came from far... so far...
But yet, the presence was near. Dark, and maleficent. It was as if the "thing" was just next to us. Then we saw it.
Bloody, too pale, with a sinister smile stuck on its face. His arms went up... and everyone died. Maws came from the ground,
spirits attacked us. Even now, in my nightmare, I see the Crawler, again and again. I know it haunts me. Even dead, he still is with me.

That part of the notebook an adventurer named Sir Rheinmar wrote, is about the Crawler. The Crawler is some kind of scary creature, that haunts old manors. It can convoke spirits and other tricks. Those who cross his path never forget him. It is created by the Demon Clan, even if, by nature, it isn't a demon. In fact, it's more like an artificial puppet. A vicious puppet.
