Quick Info:
Adds 17 new blocks, ids 239-255 (configurable via a config file)
Tons of new recipes for creating dyed stairs (cobblestone, stone and wood). Stained glass (follows the same recipes as dyed wood, cobble, etc)
Note for the dyed stairs: Due to limitations with damage values I had to make a new "dyed stair" for each cardinal direction for each material. In total that means that there are 12 new blocks to accommodate all the new dyeable stairs. Stairs will be named "[stair type] x" where x is either N,S,E,W. The direction coincides with the way you are facing when you place it; IE if you are facing North and want to walk up stairs that way, you will need use {Dyed Stair} N. I apologize for this but at the moment can't figure out a good way to solve this problem without modifying the base code, which I do not want to do.
Furthermore, there seems to be something with recipes such that if you do:
xxx xxx
oxx xxo
oox xoo
they both end up being treated as the same recipe.
they get interpreted as the same recipe. This happens if you just do a column as well. Unfortunately that means that the recipes for making the dyed stairs are not intuitive; they are thus:
ooo ooo xxx oxo
ooo xxx ooo oxo
xxx ooo ooo oxo
I don't remember which cardinal direction goes with which, but to make the dyeable stairs, take the dyed version of what would make them (So blue dyed wood) and place it in the pattern (where blue dyed wood = x) and that will get you stairs. You'll notice this makes half as many stairs as the normal stair recipe, and that is because you are using half the materials.
Installation instructions:
Take the terrain.png file out of the zip and place it in your minecraft.jar
Take the config file out of the zip and place it in your .minecraft folder
Drop the mod_toDyeFor.zip into your mods folder. Alternatively if you wish you could drag the .class files into your minecraft.jar, but I personally prefer just dropping the zip in the mods folder. Much cleaner.

I've posted the recipes, a quick screenshot of all the new items, and a modified dokucraft terrain.png

And last but not least:
If you should decide you absolutely love this mod, first I'd love to nhear it. Feel free to email me at mod.to.dye.for@gmail.com I'd love ton hear from you if you don't like it, either!
Secondly: Please feel free to put this in a (non-commercial) mod ncompilation if you feel so inclined. My main goal was to expand the npossibilities for dyeing items without adding too many new blocks. All In ask is that you link to http://to-dye-for.posterous.com/ and attribute it to me, Kyraleese.
EDIT: Not sure why there were all the n's, but I cleaned the post up because it was UGLY.

Added new blocks; Dyeable glass, and dyeable cobble stone, stone and wood stairs. See first post for all the details.
Note: If you wish to use a different texture pack you will have to edit a few of the terrain.png slots. Take a look at the terrain.png included with this mod to see what slots you need to add textures for.
