since my last post "server generator" got so many views, i decided to take it to the next level

with this tool you can select a singleplayerworld and convert it to a server so you can play with friends

how to use:
-choose your world
-select a path to save the server
-set the options
-enter your name(not stealing data, just to make you op from the beginning on)
-click "Create the Server"
-follow the instructions on the popup-window

i was wondering  about a few things.
1. it says 1.4.4 but will this work for 1.3.2? or 1.4.2?
2. what about mods? does it keep the mods working?or does it disable them?

3.i think thats all i wanna ask for now lol but great work :) very useful.

1. it will utomatically download the latest server.jar from minecraft.net, so you would have to download an old version to get it downgraded


2. it will be a normal multiplayer server, so not all mods will work

or you could just have a server and go to your saves folder in .minecraft and drag the world and change the server's world

When i launch Launch_Server.bat file it opens then in a split second it closes help

open the bat file with a text editor and add a new line saying "pause" this will make it not close and you see why it failed

i think replacing "java" in the first line with the full path to your java.exe might fix it


java.exe is located somewhere here: C:Program FilesJavajre7binjava.exe
or maybe C:Program FilesJavajre6binjava.exe

then you have to surround the path with "" because of the space in program files it will treat it as a command, so just go like "
 C:Program FilesJavajre6binjava.exe" of course you have to add the backslashes in it, planetminecraft doesn't seem to support these

Guys Stop complaining or asking the same question that has been answered again and again. I fits not working you probably didnt folow hi intructions or as we all Know this is a mod and all mods have their flaws so all we can do is sit, wait and give him support while he either fixes it or does something.

Hey Guys this is the default minecraft server like on minecraft.
That means that the server is absolutely uncustimizeable no plugin and you cant mod it
If you want a bukkit program go to www.bukkit.org click get craftbukkit on the to then scroll all the way down to find craft bukkit auto installer then just download and then you need to port forward you should look that up on YouTube or contact me and I'll tell you at [email protected]

Before I make one I have questions.

What does it mean by choose a path?

How do I know what the IP is?

Do I need to port forward with Online on?
