BMPT Terminator
The BMPT Terminator was created following heavy Russian armor losses in The Battle of Grozny, Chechnya. The idea behind the vehicle is that it supports tanks in Urban combat where they are most vulnerable, eliminating threats with its autocannons and missile armament. It is unclear exactly how many are in service with the Russian Army but they have been tested in Syria and have been spotted more recently in Ukraine, during the Battle of Sievierodonetsk (with additional side protection)
BMPT-72 Terminator 2
newer model of the original BMPT, while the original is based primarily on a T-90 chassis, the BMPT-72 is placed on the T-72 chassis. This variant is currently offered for export, changes from the original include removal of two AGS-30 grenade launcher positions (crew reduced from 5 to 3) and other minor improvements
