Welcome to Warsaw, Poland. This map takes place during the 1944 Warsaw Uprising where many Polish and Jewish people fought back the Germans in an attempt to retake their city.

This is a map that I made last year for a final project in a polish history class of mine. I waited to upload this in case I ever decided to continue working on it but I have no motivation to continue working on it. It is complete as far as for my project assignment, but I ran out of time for any additional stuff I had. It may look really bad and rushed only because I made the whole map in two weeks with almost non-stop work.

Most of the buildings are empty on the inside apart from a soup kitchen built towards the west part of the city. The majority of the exterior of the city is just copy-paste rubble that acts as filler so the map wouldn't seem empty during the presentation of my project. The actual contents of the map that I built by hand are the Prudential High Rise building, St. Augustine Church, The Great Synagogue, and some other smaller builds like the railyard to the north of the city and all the standing and blown up buildings in the downtown and southern parts of the city. The Great Synagogue was made using references from actual pictures of the building before it was destroyed. Prudential High Rise Building and St. Augustine Church were built using pictures, Google Maps and Street View as references. There is also a small sewer system in the eastern part of the city before the Vistula River. This is a small representation of the way resistance fighters moved throughout the city without being caught by the Germans.

This map is very laggy due to the overwhelming amount of fire and campfires placed throughout the rubble sites. Also, there are villagers who are portrayed as the Polish Resistance with husks and illagers being portrayed as German Soldiers. So for those with less powerful computers be careful.

There is a map right where you spawn in with an overview of the city and some waypoints for the POI's.
