**NOTICE: I am currently rebuilding the entire Blast Furnace and Steel Mill on another world and on another Server. This one will still stay as Amber Furnace, but I am planning to make another Blast Furnace with another name for the new Steel Works. I'll try my best to keep you informed on progress and I will eventually make a project page for it**

For those of you that may have seen my previous post on the working iron blast furnace I made in Minecraft, I mentioned it was undergoing extreme renovation and eventually the entire structure was demolished. But in its place, I have rebuilt the entire thing. Sadly, the redesign of it does not allow for it to actually operate to smelt iron ore into ingots, however, it looks much, MUCH, more accurate to a real blast furnace (specifically, Carrie Furnace that was in Rankin, PA). Not much is changed, as it still looks the same in basic looks, however, I've gotten to adding an Ore Yard and Gantry Crane to the rear of the stockhouse, as that was something I couldn't do to the original as it was too close to the river. One thing that remains from the original build is the hot metal bridge, as this was accurate and built in the right proximity to keep for future operation. If you want to know (in summary) how a blast furnace works, check out the original Functional Blast Furnace.

And on that note I say, goodnight fellow Planet Minecrafters
