Ampleforth, the City of Mages.

Built as a player explorable city, Ampleforth is a full featured city where arcane magic can be learned. It is rumored that a great magic stirs within the castle walls of Ampleforth, locked away in legend.

Ampleforth is constructed on top of the ruins of many bygone centuries and is the resting place of many great mages, both living and deceased. While a powerful aura keeps monsters and demons away, Ampleforth itself is not completely free of corruption, and currently operates as a central commercial hub in Argea.

The most challenging design elements of Ampleforth ultimately was the original idea itself. Creating a city for mages seems easy until you start, what kind of city do mages live in generally? I figured towers and mages seem to go well together, and made a predominately stone brick city with lots of nature built in, and towers galore.

Ampleforth is currently being constructed by Nukin_Spy on Argeacraft, an epic RPG. Currently in Pre-Development. You can explore Ampleforth and the rest of Argea for yourself, as soon as Argeacraft is released.
