This is my first ever submission to planet minecraft as long as my submission to the nether empire project contest. I only found out about this about a week or so ago so i worked very hard on this to try and make something decent in time.
My fellow Gamer Nelly_D_Relish however did help me a lot on this map. My idea was a concept of Yin and Yang. We have the Sigils an "evil" empire making a living in the nether. Evil however really doesn't cover it, they are more just dark, a group of people making a living in the nether with dark materials. what happens is a "good" group come in. This is where Nelly helped me. She created the Gallus, the Kingdom of squiggly. they came to the nether through a portal into the nether. Shortly they decided that the Sigil's where heathens because the Sigil's did not use or respect the pure white "good" quartz. (and other reasons as well play the map). The Gallus then attacked the Sigil's and this is where the map is now frozen in time. in the beginnings of a war. A war where the Gallus have the materials and the manpower and the Sigil have very little. The have only what they have. I went for yin yang yet i also decided on showing that sometimes "good" can be a little too good and thus no longer good. An idea of "holier then thou."
So check out the map please give us a diamond if ya like us. We used no tools of any kind (kinda new to tools like mcedit and such so i couldn't waste the time learning it.) and nelly herself is very new she's played for less then a month but I've seen her creativity.
This is also our launch video for our Press Start Let's Play network! me and Nelly also have a lets play channel now on minecraft and a whole bunch of other games. It would also be great if you could check us out like favorite maybe subscribe.(videos currently uploading)It would be great if ya did we'd really like ya! lol. So check us out watch the video here it's in two parts one here showing nelly's area and then the second part is of the sigils. pass us around, honestly i don't really expect to win there are some amazing other maps but as long as i get some likes and some of you out there enjoy the map then i'm happy enough.

Video #1 was added it involves about 5-6 minutes of a quick fly around. That's all you need to watch if you just want to see the map quick. If you aren't planning to download but want to get an idea of what we've done continue watching the video. The first part is of Nelly_D_relish's side the Gallus, while the second half (now exporting from the editor) is of the second half my sigil's! Please like and favorite a Diamond would be awesome.
