About the Real Ship-
The Carnival Sunshine was originally built in 1997 as the Carnival Destiny. At this time it was the largest cruise ship in the world and the only ship to surpass 100,000 gross tons. In 2013, the ship went into a several week only dry dock to be bring it up to speed with the newer ships of the cruise industry. Among the upgrades were all 25 of Carnival Cruise Lines fleet enhancement program, funship 2.0. The changes were so drastic the ship was renamed Carnival Sunshine.
About the Minecraft Replica-
The Sunshine has a full interior, including crew spaces. This is my second time through building this ship. The journey of building the new and improved Sunshine is documented in the update logs of my old Carnival Sunshine, also on my PMC page. Carnival Sunshine is my personal favorite cruise ship, and I think this model really does it justice. This is my best work in terms of interior design.I am so excited to share this ship, and I hope you like it!

In this large update I have completely redone the entire bow. I think the ship looks muchs much better with this new design and a little more detailed. I have also updated the funnel to match the new version I used on the Carnival Victory. Other minor improvements include updates to all signs on the ship and other minor design flaw fixes. Thank you to everyone who has downloaded the ship so far. I hope you like the upgraded version.
