DISCLAIMER: MAP IS ONLY GUARANTEED TO WORK IN 1.17 - 1.17.1
CIRONATH
3072 x 3072 Ultra-Realistic Multibiome Terrain
This is Cironath, an ultrarealistic 3072 x 3072 multibiome terrain. It uses new lake and river techniques, erosion and detailing techniques, glaciation, and more. It also contains various extras - ores, rocks, bushes, trees, and cliffs.
But the main point of this map is the height - 1.17 allows for heights greater than 256, up to 2048 if you'd so like, possibly more?
This map has a height limit of 512, allowing for far more realistic detail on the mountains and cliffs, as well as allowing me to use larger trees whilst maintaining the scale (Nobody wants trees half the height of their mountains!)
Currently, it's the most detailed and best-looking map I can offer, though this won't be for long as this is my first attempt with a height limit greater than 256. It has four different distinct biomes, or five, depending on your definition of a "biome."
These biomes are:
Taiga
Temperate/Warm Forest
Plains
Aquatic (Lake and rivers)
Ultra-Realistic Mountains

The map is is 3k x 3k which is small as it is but those mountains in the screenshot take up 3/4th of the map's space, and the only plains area on the map are about 1/8th They also do not have mountain tops as shown in the screenshots and top off at world height and are just completely flat.
Don't get me wrong, it's scenic and everything and would be great if you are using it for a YouTube video for something like a timelapse of you building something or using it as a template to build smallish buildings maybe a castle?
but if you intend to use it for anything else I do not recommend spending the ~$5 USD for it as you will be disappointed.
Here is a screenshot of a top-down view so you can see what I mean. The only plains area without trees is the bottom left corner of the map. THIS IS THE WHOLE MAP. there isn't more outside the borders of this screenshot.

That appears to be a Chunky viewpoint? For some reason this map does not play well with Chunky and only works properly with one specific version. In game, the mountain tops are most certainly present. For some reason the 1.17 height limit (384 blocks) does not properly load in Chunky, but versions 1.18+ do.
But the mountains don't cut off ingame. They do actually have tops.
However, I have been in the planning stages of a massive continent map with approx. 10-15 biomes in it that will be around 8kx8k to 16kx16k in size depending on how the planning plays out. My hope is that it will satisfy both people that want to use it as a build/for a server, and those that wish to use it as a survival world.
