This is a house and farm based off of one I lived in growing up in central Illinois. My family rented this house from an older lady who moved into town because she could not take care of it anymore. Her children lived far away and did not have an interest in farming. Other area farmers rented the land around the homestead to grow crops, and we cared for the house. It was over 8 acres of grass to cut, it took my dad and I 8-9 hours to cut it with the rider and trimming with a push mower around the forest of trees! It was an awesome place, we had an apple orchard, a few barns, and grain silos. The place is still being farmed as far as I know, it has been owned by the same family for over 150 years.

The room layout of the house is the same as the original except the second floor was only the two large bedrooms, the rest was unfinished attic space. It was also not modern in style like I have made it. I decided to make it fit in more with current designs.

The large white barn is true to what used to exist on the farm, unfortunately it was torn down over 20 years ago because they never used it, but it was a beautiful building. The two red barns I have seen around where I used to live, and decided to recreate them here.  

I would love to own a home like this some day, but homes of this size and quality are rare and seldom come on the market in western Nebraska where I live now.

This was built in 1.15.2 with the CubedPack 5.0.1.3 resource pack. It will say it is not compatible but it worked fine for me.
