In the following, use of the overview map is needed as when made the cardinals ( North, South, East, West) points are rotated 90' to the right.
NB:
The Map is HUGE, very big, with lots of places to explore, and plenty of resources to mine.
There *should* be ordinary mineshafts throughout the map regardless, however there is a large cavern system located at the South South-East corner of the South Island.
When coming to the edges of the map there will be a short waterfall, as the water level for New Zealand is 80, and is slightly above the rest of the world.
I'd like to add that I haven't actually been to New Zealand like at ALL...ever! So please don't ask me for my opinion on cities or towns.
You SPAWN near the top coast of the North Island, a bit out of the way but allows you to see the scenery when making your way to the South Island.

NBB: If you cannot download the map for any reason ( probably as it is approx.300MB ), use this link to download the zip file containing the '.world' file for worldpainter, to export yourself to an ordinary save file.
