Desert Restaurant:

As many people hate to build something in the desert, I decided to make a building which noone did before! So I built a restaurant in the desert by the only Oasis of the hole map! People can eat and drink! Also the restaurant is very big!
Also I'm in aware that I could have make a citys around this restaurant but I wanted to give the feeling that it is like a hallucination!

Not quite sure how DJPaulii did it, but whenever I'm in need of jungle trees, I use VoxelSniper, more specifically, "/b t jungle". Now this only works on a server with VS installed, I'm sure there's methods to do it on SSP using some sort of editor, but I'm not aware of them.

i love the shape of the exterior :D and how the back half of the build looks a little like a cross section of one of the typical 'tear drop' shaped roofs that you see in arabian builds and the high peak. is there any advice you who happen to have for building a restaurant? cause i have my own desert build that I'm working on and the town hasn't got any restaurants D: so if there are any point that you think should be 'focused' on, please share :3

I like the restaurant very much. It shows a unique use of Dynamicy (not sure if that is a word) on a static build (A structural one). So its kinda of a mix between Organics and Regular, which shows really good skill! On the flip side though, there is a couple of things you're missing/could improve on that would make the build even more complete. You should maybe try adding some landscape building (Such as paths, benches, maybe a couple of palm trees around [but close] the build to give it even more of a desert-y type of feel). Try not to make it this random building that was just placed in the middle of the desert, with a small oasis next to it. I mean obviously they get their resources from the oasis nearby, but do they really want to walk on sand? The inhabitants would've most likely built paths to and from the oasis to the restaurant, with some lanterns, maybe a boat for fishing.

The overlay around the oasis is very nice, with the splatter and such, but I feel as if the thing is too circular and perfect, along with the general terraforming. That's what I hate about World Painter, things come out to perfect looking. To me if there was an Oasis, it would've been a little bit more awkwardly shaped compared to yours, to give a natural feeling. The surrounding area (the desert) is also a bit too perfect, which makes it awkward.

Also I'm not sure how people would get to the desert. Maybe try making like an Organic camel or something (elephants maybe too) around the area to signify that this could be a Rest stop on a large travel route, therefore allowing the restaurant to thrive (Like it look likes it does).

Overall nice work though! I'd like to see more!

I knew that people would ask why I didn't build any houses around the restaurant and so on. I made only this building because it makes it look like a hallucination. Its like you are in a desert, nothing is around and then there is this big restaurant in the nowhere!You are right I could made some streets to the oasis!
Also i'm in aware of the soft shapes of the world! I wanted to make it so because the desert has only sandhills and it looked best when it was smoothy! Normally I make the worlds way more bumpy but in this case it fit perfect in a real image of a desert! :)
All in all I wanted the build a little bit unrealistic! Thats why I didn't added any animals or other buildings to it, to give people the feeling that it is a hallucination :)
