Doofensmirtz Evil Inc.
History
Originally built in a trade city, it started with the hope to build something eye-catching to bring customers, although I was never really active or motivated to play so the build mostly stayed empty. It was nothing short of a lightning rod though, it attracted hundreds of players and in the end I sold it to a player named DarkyDu. During the week I transferred ownership I decided to help with renovating the not-so-secret bunker under Doofensmirtz Evil Inc. ; Days later I login to a major surprise, a evil plan took place, to destroy the entire city which the tower resided in. An estimated 68 players took place in the iron reinforced obby bombing (750 block breaks per block) and in the end placed an unfathomable 100,000 obsidian. This sparked the 3rd and final Server World War ending in the bans of 50% of the server population and the slow death of CivRealms; only to continue on a new server Called CivUniverse.
Build
My friend FuzzyMittz helped me a lot and started with a rougher and flatter design which had the basic shape, from there I added depth with the gray-looking terracotta, and adjusted the height and proportions of the floors to make things line up better and give it a cleaner look, then I went to work on adding detail like the support on the left and railing on the right, finally I started on interior work including the use of a elevator plugin. Currently there is only 4.5 floors and one of them is unreachable without breaking blocks or teleporting in even if you have a elevator plugin, although I tried hard to maintain most of the original look while adding my own creative touches like the windows, bar, poker room, and more. The bar specifically was the work of Cometify (go sub to him) and I because we wanted to have fun selling booze (in-game) for money, it was actually a very popular location for Nation Leaders to chill out in during the fall of CivCorp.
Now
Since the server this beaut is in is dead, I no longer play it, my friends no longer play it, and the crazy builders no longer play it; if you wanna join in on the action and have some fun on CivMC just hop in our Discord. Hell, you might even stumble across us and have some fun interactions!
