I didn't plan on creating the Legion dropship until I release my "Eastshire" map, but since I decided to particapate in Head to the clouds contest, I might as well. 

The Legion's standard issue dropship, it serves as their primary transport vehicle via air. Mass produced and multi-variant, the dropship is known for its practicality and utility.  The Dropship is Multi-purpose, a Standard dropship can be easily modified into any available variants within 1-3 hours. This means, if a Reconnaissance craft is needed behind enemy lines, a Dropship stationed near the frontlines can simply be modified to a Recon varaint and get sent in, rather than calling one straight from HQ

Current Variants:



Standard Variant: 
-Able to carry a squad (12 infantry) into the frontlines
-Utilizes Afterburners that increases its speed by 130% when used

VTOL Variant:
-VTOL capabilities allowing it to take off and land without the need of using as much runway like the conventional method
-The VTOL capabilities uses a different engine and thus, does not have any Afterburners

Gunship Variant:
-Utilizes VTOL capabilities to maximize its effectiveness.
-Armed with a Twin autocannon (shielded and pintle mounted) at the rear and Two double barrelled incendiary cannon by the cockpit
-To fit in the weapons, the frame of the ship is slightly altered 
-Minecraft wise, all weapon systems equipped in the Gunship works perfectly


Cargo Variant:
-Utilizes 4 lighter fusion core engines for decreased overall weight, but having a slightly lower overall speed (compared to the standard dropship) at the cost of having a larger wing span, and thus, an easier target to hit.  
-Fairly large cargo capabilties, and is able to transport small vehicles

Recon Variant
-Equipped with a larger fusion core engine (taking up some space in the interior) for increased over all speed. Afterburners increases its speed by 180% when used
-Modified for Reconnaissance, it is equipped with an "Electronic warfare package", improving its detection systems, stealth capabilities and ECM capabilities. 

Notes:
-Due to Minecraft's game mechanics, I'm currently having trouble designing the VTOL engine.
-There will be no VTOL variant on this one, and I used the Standard engine for the Gunship variant
-The background is the current project I'm working on (apart from the contest)
