Dwarven City Project
To all those people reading this,
Hi! This is my first ever post on Planet Minecraft (hopefully not my last). I would like to introduce to you a project that myself and a few friends are undertaking starting in about one weeks time and lasting indefinitely, or at least as long as it takes to build the thing.
What is the thing you ask? The thing is an entire underground, Dwarven themed city in Minecraft (if that wasn't sefl evident) with a twist; I shall be terraforming the ENTIRE from scratch! This means that I will start with a void world seed (which I already have) and I will then use VoxelSniper to create the landscape that we desire.
Features
There are already some ideas floating around about the design of the city and we know broadly what we would like to build. Some of the features include:
The Plea
This is the part where you guys come in! I would like anybody with ANY ideas at all to message me, email me etc about ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING to do with the city. Primarily I am looking for concepting help and ideas but if anybody is interested in helping with:

Why us?
This project is one with a difference. We are a very small group of people who want to undertake a long term project. We have a server (I have had one running for around a year but we are looking to upgrade for this project).
As I mentioned, the map will be built FROM THE GROUND UP. This offers creative opportunities that few other projects can offer; the entire world will be tailored to our every needs! Need to move a mountain or River? We can do that! Need extra height on your part of the mountain? We can do that!

- A Port area complete with Gates of Argonath (Lord of the Rings two statues facing up the river; I can offer further clarification for the uninitiated!)
- A large dam
- A crane system to take cargo from the lower port area to the City
- A large main entrance
- All of the usual stuff (Cathedrals, Keep, housing, markets etc)
- Airship port, possibly on another mountain.

Hi guys,
Just to let you know terraforming is well underway. The harbour area and entrance canyon are finished and work has begun on the main mountain itself. I shall endeavour to add some screenshots of what we have done so far if people would like

The city can do a system that drains water from the sea (if there is a close) to the lakes or swimming pools in the city. Build in some places, such as blocks of iron pipes through which water flows into them (theme from the dwarven ruins from Skyrim).
The idea sounds great, I really like the idea of an aqueduct system in the city. With regards to if there is a sea close by, that's the brilliant thing about building your own landscape, we can make it exactly as we want it!
Any further thoughts don't hesitate to let me know. If you don't mind me asking, what sort of things do you like building. Would you be interested at helping out at some point (as I said its still pre-building stage but I'm sure we could use the help later
