I was talking to a friend about ways to make a tool to practice the cachexia 2 mechanic from Final Fantasy XIV's P6s fight in a space that wasn't halfway through the fight and wouldn't require either explaining on the fly or too much time wiping and resetting. They jokingly suggested minecraft, and uh - here I am, 6 hours later, having very briefly skimmed and learned enough to make it happen.

The map will randomly generate your aetheric nexus layout, as well as your debuffs. I skipped the infection, just turn around if you need to in FF. It's not timed so you have plenty of time to go over how to read the mechanic with your friends who don't know the fight.


I know you can LB3, but I don't want to haha. One day I'll convince my friends that we should dps LB and just do the mechanic.

Built in 1.19.4, if it matters. There might be some bugs in it still? ran it for a few minutes, everything was working as intended, as far as I could see.
