I really love Gears of War and this is one of my most played maps. I
decided to recreate it in Minecraft. With one my first screen my
minecraft game, one my second screen the map in Gears of War and next to
me the guide with the blueprints I carefully recreated the map block by
block. It took me an immense amount of time to do this, but I am happy
with the results as they are now.

The map is mostly quick combat. Expect to die fast during the few
first seconds and hide after you respawn. When one team manages to reach
his “sniper house” (the house on the other side of the spawn on each
side) they basically can control the battlefield.

"It looks really nice and it has a good feel when you play on this
map, but the rounds are really quick. But since this is a recreation I
guess you can’t help it in this case," a friend of Duncan says while
test-playing the map.
