Short Description:
I've never really familiarized myself with this particular style, or more accurately, the mixture thereof. Not being 100% sure if the Roman elements are an adaptations of previous innovation cast upon Georgian mansions, or perhaps the sustainability of a people that never left their fondness for the classical ideals in a contemporary age. Either way, their architecture stands as a testimony of tremendous skill and beauty, often overlooked as a mere building purposed to house a lord and his family.
Though the facades are of typical choice for this style of construction, I decided to take some risks in terms of color selection and overall structural features. This involves a different approach to the garden, adapted from a type of decorative and cultural geometry prevalent in African nations. The roman pillars maintains their posture with a slight different choice in color, dressing and angle, affording a unique opportunity to see potential in other expressions which can either fail miserably, or become an initial point for something beautiful.
I wanted to go for an octagonal pavilion on the southern stretch, but figured a detailed scale required for it will hyperbole the proportions out of control, potentially depriving the main structure with its presence; thus canceled for a more simplistic yet beautiful roofed retreat, complimented with outdoor seating, jacuzzi, swimming pool, open-top greenhouse, and an encompassing perimeter that seals your protection.
The interior is an interesting one. It's a bit strange to cast it in the light of "ornate" design, failing in comparison with the Sims 4 that provides a more convincing license to label the interior as such. Notwithstanding, the two layered walls, color selection, and wooden furniture helped convey an expression akin to a Victorian interior, matched with internal Moroccan features beautifully pronounces by a rectangular skylight complimenting the structural layout. Of course, there is a lot more to say about the effort brought to light from all angles, but for most, reading is a tiring affair, so per usual, I'll lay down the fundamentals.
