Highly Detailed 2010 Duel-cab, 4WD Automatic Holden Colorado with Working 3.0L Turbo Diesel Intercooled engine. The finished Project includes many, many features which I will now run over in giant Spoilers.
I made a couple of gifs to demonstrate the engine in operation.
http://imgur.com/Z4XtMFf Shows the pistons firing in order.
http://imgur.com/sfYxsTC Shows the 4 stroke valve and piston operation.
(They are a bit dark so you may need to turn your brightness up a bit.)
Sculpted and resculpted many times to get it just right. I did have a real world refference as it was my company vehicle at the time but otherwise it was all created by sight with alot of trial and error. It was also the build I used to gain the Arichitect rank, the first rank on the server with World Edit, so it was all originaly made by hand. I have RSI as a result.
There are Probably 1000 little things I have missed so the best way to enjoy this build is by loggin in to mikeland (sheen.id.au) and going to /warp jtruck.
If you do, there are entrances hidden in all of the door handles, near the side mirrors and in the boot latch. The Engine bay can be entered from underneith the truck and the engine itself can be entered at the side of the airbox, letting you travel all the way though the engine and out the exhaust!
Thanks for taking the time to check out my build! I hope you like it!
*Disclaimer*
An early version of this Project was previously posted under Mikeland Here http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/holden-colorado-2010-edition/. I let Those guys post it unfinished at the time because they wanted the
advertising. A Few years later and it is finally finished so I want to post it under my own name.

Interior - click to reveal
All parts of the interior have been at least represented in some way.
Dashboard, stearing wheel, indicator/wiper stalks, radio, pedals, door handles, speakers, switches and locks, seatbelts, gearstick, handbrake, headrests and a working airconditioner that rapidly shoots snowballs (pictured).
The interior also includes controls to turn the engine and headlights on in the correct locations.
Inside the covered tray/boot I build some of my favorite things. My Fender Stratocaster guitar (in case), my little Laney practice amp (with valves, plugs and dials all represented), a Box of Coopers Sparkling Ale - the best Australian beer there is, and a toolbox with minecraft tools for good measure.

Mechanicals - click to reveal
Front coilover and rear leaf spring suspention with clamps and rubbers where possible, Front disk brakes, Rear drum brakes, Chassis, Fuel tank, Gearbox, Driveshaft, Differential, front and rear Axles, Battery, Windscreen wipers, and probly other stuff I can't remember. I have also taken the time to include internal details that cannot be seen without wallhacks such as water channels inside the radiator and baffles in the muffler.
Engine - click to reveal
I'm pretty proud of this bit. I built the 4 Cylinder, Turbo Charged, Intercooled Diesel engine from the real life vehicle. Complete with pistons and valves that are all timed to move in the correct way. I have included two .gifs to demonstrate the firing order (2-1-3-4) http://imgur.com/Z4XtMFf and valve/piston operation (proper 4 stroke cycle - Intake, Compression, Ignition, Exhaust) http://imgur.com/sfYxsTC.
The engine includes such components and features as, A water jacket around all of the pistons that is directly linked to a Radiator with water filled hoses (enjoy the swim!), Transmission cooler in front of the radiator, Alternator, Air-Con Compressor, Belts, Intake and Exhaust manifolds, Airbox with all tubing, both the Turbine and Compressor side of the Turbo Charger and the above mounted Intercooler - all hooked up correctly, Exhaust pipe with muffler with internal detail.
The engine is controlled from the right side of the stearing column just as in real life and all the redstone is hidden in the Sump and Cylinder head of the engine. It causes much lag :)
