Full tutorial on How To Place Small Drip Leaves in your Minecraft Bedrock Edition, pocket edition, or MCPE vanilla survival world. This is for 1.17 caves and cliffs update.

A small dripleaf is a plant which generates in lush caves used to grow big dripleaves, a platforming block.

Small dripleaves naturally generate within the lush caves biome, which currently only generates in single biome buffet worlds in Java Edition and through experimental toggle in Bedrock Edition.

Small dripleaves can be obtained by trading with a wandering trader, who sometimes may sell 2 small dripleaves for 1 emerald. This is the only way to obtain small and big dripleaves in a default Survival world as of 1.17 version.

A small dripleaf can be obtained by mining it using shears. A small dripleaf drops nothing when mined using any other tool, pushed with a piston, sticky piston or broken by destroying or moving the block under it. It breaks instantly in all cases.

Small dripleaf can be placed on top of clay and moss blocks, as well as dirt, coarse dirt, farmland, grass blocks and podzol if these blocks are underwater.

Using bone meal on a small dripleaf causes it to grow into a big dripleaf, from one to five blocks tall.

Small dripleaves do not grow on their own.

This video was recorded on my xbox series x in the Minecraft Bedrock Edition beta. Its played in the 1.17 caves and cliffs update version.
