Hey! I was very surprised to come across this whilst browsing youtube (Or atleast, a similar sized map that made me know about you and your work) as most people do not build on this size, and you've done an absolutely fantastic job! I've been WPing myself for a couple of years, and have made about 2 maps roughly the size of 30000x30000, and am currently making another. I thought I was pretty decent at map making; I've taught myself alot of geography and such to make my maps more realistic, however I do not possess the level of detail that your maps seem to bring, so I'd like to ask a few questions if that's alright?



Firstly, how do you work on the mountains? Is it a brush, or a method that you use? I do a mix of both, depending on the size of the range, but my hand-made mountains sometimes come off a bit sloppy sometimes.

Secondly, how do you have the snow be so smooth as it goes down the mountains? Do you just set the brush to only paint on grass and smooth it out from the mountain, then paint with snow?

Lastly, while I understand why you won't release the map to the public, would you be able to tell me which brushes you used, or if you've made custom ones?



If you don't want to answer to the questions, or reply at all, that's fine, and I respect your decision. It's a long post on an older submission so it's understandable, but before I go I'd just like to say again that I very much appreciate your work; it is very impressive, and has set a new standard for my own projects. Hopefully I can get round to posting my own pictures on here for others to see when I am finished.
