Welcome to Los Dangeles, 9+ million blocks and counting!
Developed over the course of 6+ years, it a city based on the theory that squares can be beautiful too. After all, it is hip to be square.
All buildings come fully furnished and there are various transport methods (all rail) to take you around the world. It is very much still under construction as can be seen by the many gaps and unfinished areas, but I will be updating every time I add a new area.
The entire city is built on vanilla creative, no mods etc used, because if I used mods then it would be completed far too quickly and leave me with nothing to procrastinate with.
Current population (based on no. of beds): 36,100 people

Los Dangeles 11.0: The (Somewhat) Resurrection
Hi Everyone, long time no see. In the words of the poet laureate Monet X Change... life be lifein'. Since the last update, many life changes have happened, including moving three times, so minecraft took a bit of a back seat. Plus, 4ish hours a day for 6 years or so was probably too much. In all, this update has been creeping together over the last few years and I finally got annoyed enough by it not being finished to actually finish it.
Due to just how long its been, I can't quite remember everything that's been done, but here's a somewhat list:
Residential
8 large colourful towers with landscaping growing in height towards the city centre.
Office
A variety of new glass towers and... blocks (?) to encourage more employment for offices - one even looks like it floats against gravity.
Mixed Use
A giant (may have gone too far with this one) 8 block connected residential and office development, all linked together with sky tunnels filled with water and fish.
Cultural
Culture has finally come to Los Dangeles! The cultural quarter now has a purpose - an arts district filled with different class rooms to encourage artists. And to show everything off that goes into creating minecraft, two museum blocks which show all of the available blocks and paintings available in the game. I planned it to show as much as possible when it started, but with all the updates in the meantime very much not all of the available blocks are showcased... maybe an expansion in the future...
Other
There's a lot of other minor changes that have been implemented, tram network revamp and Phase 2 expansion layouts, however I admit I cannot remember them all. Go find them and let me know.
