MANTA ISLAND RESORT

Texturepack used is a slightly modified JOLICRAFT
This is MANTA. Originally named after the Manta-Ray shaped 'Parasol' which hangs over Beach Manta.
SOLO project using the voxelmodpack and the water shader ( just for photos ) and also UNFINISHED as I have had only aboot a week and a half, AND on top of that, lot of school examinations and coursework to worry aboot. sigh.

The majority of the build is sandstone and the white wood log :$ For the entirety of the project, and to be honest, I didn't really have a definite view as to where to take it, it sorta just came as I saw it. [ I can also see many improvements that could've been made ]

Originally I did include The_Centalina, a cruise ship of which I had uploaded, and installed it into the arrival harbour with a cargo minerail, HOWEVER on re-reading of the rules I was forced to get rid of it ( even though it did suit it very well)

ANYWAYS, down to business.
MANTA includes the following at the moment:

HOTEL MANTA [unfinished]- A modern styled hotel, single building, based upon the shape of a manta-ray. the front has HUGE glass panes to give a huge view of the ocean, and has an elaborate entrance through one of the archways of the island. Despite a huge importance to the contest it has been left for a bit and basically only has the shell and a start on the VIP suite and the entrance/reception room.
LIGHTHOUSE - The lighthouse has a little architectural design on the sides, but not much to be fair. It is quite a big one too. It is hollow [ looks only but may be made public ie. filled up and fitted out ]
BEACH MANTA - I did quite a big of landscaping to the beach, made it larger etc. The top beach is under a giant 'manta-ray parasol' which stops rain and lets its sunbathers still get a tan regardless of the precipitation.
POOL OF ECCENTRICITY - This is in beach manta, but it is the lower part and is generally a giant, circular, shallow pool with glowstone rings inside it in a pattern. I called it eccentricity for the maths geeks out there [ as the centre or every glowtone circle is NOT the centre of the pool, hence eccentric ]
SECRET GARDEN - Actually not so secret but it IS secluded. It has an array of hanging lanterns to give a warm glow to the area. The pathway is 'supposed' to 'blend' into the scenery, but that might have failed. The entrances have an open-fence décor with a lantern to light it up.

There are a few wee things which I never mentioned, 'cos there's no need to really. There is also a lil theatre for any comedy/drama lovers, yet still LOTS of planned instalments; a few private lodgings along the private beach, more pathways to link up the island and give a great walk to see the scenery, a cliff-side café and a lot more, Even an Underground Roller-coaster!!!

AS I said earlier, it is unfinised, and I have a hard time finding time to get on Minecraft, BUT I do appreciate comments and suggestions, merci!
