Why not try FRSM? It's a mod that adds several modern things, including laptops and flatscreen TVs. And since you have a resource pack, it'd be a good idea to add some textures for the things that need such a thing. Unfortunately, I infer you cannot use Papertazer's road mod, as it is for 1.8 and you have 1.7.10. Monoblocks is still a good alternative, though!

And there is a few others. But I only used these mods in screenshots temperatly to give everyone an idea of what it is going to look like inside and stuff!
