Minecraft Ghostbusters Firehouse and car, abbreviated.
Built in October 2011 on Minecraft version Beta 1.8.1

On a friend's Bukkit Server, they installed Secret Passage Plugin.
Better than a piston driven gate.

It inspired me to make a garage type building and then a firehouse.
On searching google images, I saw the ghostbusters building.

Halfway to finishing the front, I realized this building was going to be HUGE if built to-scale. And I was starting to get tired of digging up sand for sandstone and exploring for clay for bricks. So I cut the rest of the dimensions in half.

The second floor interior was left unfinished. Maybe some day.

Finishing touch was the ghostbusters car, a repurposed ambulance.
At first I made one with more details but that became HUGE again.
Sacrificed detail to match the scale of the building.
