This is my mob grinder. It uses the mechanics of Minecart Mania plugin. (http://wiki.afforess.com/Minecart_Mania-Plugin)

The entire purpose of this project is to get mob drops so i didn't entirely focus on it being a beautiful piece of art work, tho i did add a design to it to prevent it looking like a giant eye sore. The bulk of the entire building consists of empty dark rooms for mobs to spawn with water flowing to push them down to the killing floors. There are 2 pillars of killing floors. 4 lava traps on each killing floor. Pretty simple concept.

The convenient part of this project is it's completely automatic. The water ways push the items to the collection floor, which uses a circling storage cart to pick up the items once they are pushed to it using water. You can see the end and beginning of the water ways in the pics. The items are picked up w/ the cart and they are stored in the sorting rooms, which there are two of. One for each pillar.

Fun fact: I get ink sacs from the occasional squids spawning in the water blocks i have placed in the floors to push the mobs down to the killing floors.

I will have more projects to come that aren't entirely for practical use. I just enjoy establishing a nice base of buildings that are useful to have just for the messing around or even using the items for my next projects.

For those of you interested in the Minecart mania, i have a project i'll be posting soonish that uses the mechanics of that plugin to the fullest as a automatic sorting storage base.

I got a few really cool big projects on the nway that are purely for show. I'm simply adding my old projects that i nalready have made since i just joined planetmc. I bought this game whenn it was still alpha so i got quite some experience. Just was on a nserver that kept crashing so i switched to this one that you see in all nmy current projects.
