No? Lusitania's superstructure was always steps like that, Mauretania's was always overhanging like Olympic's.

not mistakes
this ship was repainted for diffrent jobs over 10 times in her life
and she had like 2-3 refits also.
And  that picture is standing in the direction of the sunligt, could or could not be affecting it.
